HOSPITALITY/CONTRACT TERRITORY MANAGER - Independent

The Hospitality/Contract Territory Manager supports the sales effort by establishing personal, one-on-one relationships with customers in a given sales territory in order to meet established sales goals. The “TM” is responsible for representing FAL “in-the-field” and is called upon to distribute sales collateral, enforce policy and acts as a “go between” for both FAL and their customers. Responsible for meeting or exceeding territory sales volume annually, and developing and implementing territory sales plans. Influences buyers and actively sells the brand navigating both customer service issues and new product introductions. Must possess the ability to plan own projects, establish priorities, and meet deadlines. Able to utilize or learn software or technical applications and systems at a beginner level. Excellent communication skills required to interface with both internal and external customers. Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions and to deal with problems. Full responsibility for providing overall vision, influencing major organizational changes or managing internal and/or external customers. Requires a level of autonomy and use of judgment when considering alternatives or options in resolution of problems. Requires an Associate’s degree and 3 – 5 years experience; Any equivalent combination or experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - 1 Position - Regular Full Time

The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the development of processes for all new products from concept to production.  Ensures all product designs are compliant with applicable standards and can be reproduced consistently with quality and efficiently while staying true to the aesthetic of the design. Processes styles for product engineering by facilitating engineering meetings to review and design product for manufacturing, working collaboratively with department heads and process engineers. Develops preliminary documents in support of manufacturing processes, includes BOM's (Bill of Materials), BTP's (Build to Prints), CD's (Component Drawings), customer instructions, etc.  Works closely with engineering CAD associates. Reviews and reconciles all documents to the physical product to ensure accuracy. Supervises the assembly of prototypes to adequately resolve issues that prevent the efficient and accurate production of new designs.  Document and modify initial BTP's in compliance with actual assembly. Responsible for completion and accuracy of release packet of documentation to manufacturing. Ability to write reports, correspondence, manuals or response letters to customers. Ability to speak to groups, influence results and respond to questions. Ability to plan projects and coordinate team roles or facilitate team progress toward goals.Work with designers to achieve a mechanical solution that satisfies the aesthetic requirements. Flexibility to deal with aesthetic changes. AutoCAD required and Solidworks (a plus). Bilingual (Eng/Span) preferred. 3 to 7 years experience and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering related field required.

 

PRODUCTION OPENINGS 

GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – 1 Position –  Temporary – Regular Full-Time

The General Maintenance Technician Independently performs a wide variety of duties to troubleshoot, repair, performs construction, and maintains the physical plant. Responds to “Trouble Calls” to diagnose and repair problems with building systems, such as partitions, furniture, plumbing, painting, locks, doors, ceiling, flooring, roofing, etc. Performs scheduled maintenance of building systems. Conducts maintenance programs through calibration and in accordance with manufacture’s and departmental standards to prevent equipment failure. Fabricates, assembles, and installs walls, doors, locks, ceilings, and any other building system. Recommends modifications, systems and devices to reduce operating costs and extend asset’s life. Recommends the purchase of critical or commonly used spare parts for inventory. Follows all Corporate Occupational Safety and Health Polices and Procedures. Must be able to operate hand and power tools, calibration equipment, electrical and mechanical testing devices. Requires bending, lifting, and climbing ladders. Ability to work under multiple weather conditions (interior/exterior). Requires 5 years of experience in Industrial Building Maintenance.

 

WELDER -1 Position - Regular Full Time

To insure that metal components are welded and fabricated according to specifications (jigs, drawings, samples, and visual references) in preparation for the next phase of production according to quality standards and daily production quotas.  Under supervision, performs welding operations and/or other duties. Able to operate various types of machine tools (Mills, Drill Press, Cutters & manual equipment) and performs progressive welding operations for Metal Department with close tolerances or high welding techniques to get a high quality finish on the welding points.  Uses hand tools and measuring instruments. A minimum of 2 years of experience of MIG and TIG (Heliarc) Welding and/or Welding Certification required. In addition, manual dexterity, attention to detail, organizational skills, knowledge of dimensions, angles, measures, fractions and numerical ability and accuracy. Manufacturing environment exposed to extensive heat (greater than 95 degrees F) or electrical shock risk. A high school diploma and/or 2 year experience is required. Basic Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. May handle product weighing up to 50 lbs.
